Compulsory Basic Training, or C.B.T is the course you need to complete to be able to ride a motorbike legally on the road.
The C.B.T is a one day course that will cover all aspects of motorcycling including safety, equipment, maintenance, control and road skills.
The training starts at our off-road training area. Here you will learn how to ride, whether you have any experience or not.
Your instructor will cover all the aspects of motorcycling including safety, equipment, maintenance, control and road skills.
Then you will progress on to the public road when the instructor is happy with your riding.
If the instructor is happy with you riding on the public road and says you've passed, you will be issued with your C.B.T certificate.
A C.B.T certificate allows you to ride a 50cc motorcycle (16 years old) or a 125cc motorcycle (17 years old and older).
Your C.B.T is valid for two years. After the two years you can renew your C.B.T or you can progress on to a Direct Access course.
The price of a C.B.T is £135, and we require full payment 5 days before your motorcycle training. We only except payment by phone using the payment methods; Bank Transfer or Debt/Credit Card.
Please Note: If you are caught riding without C.B.T, you are causing a multitude of offences including riding with no insurance, and you could risk a £200 fine and 6 points on your licence. Other risks include, having your bike confiscated by the police and having your insurance blacklisted for up to 5 years.
Terms and conditions: If you have booked and payed for a C.B.T course and would like to cancel, you need to contact us 48 hours before the date of you C.B.T to receive a full refund.
